Wedding Events

About clothes: Given that we're middle-aged, we recommend them. We'll be putting on nice stuff for the wedding itself, but consider everything Alaska casual. See more about this on the "Attire" page. Temps in June can range from low 40s to high 70s and rain is always likely. Katrina points out that the chance of rain is about the same as the divorce rate. Bring your rain gear. We'll handle the other part!

All wedding events will be indoors.

Friday, June 28

Cocktail Cruise, Auke Bay and Beyond- Light Dinner Served 4:30-7:30 pm Statter Harbor (at Auke Bay). Boat will have inside and outside spaces. You might bring a light jacket, but it may also be shorts and flip-flop weather!. Meet between 4 and 4:15 at ramp by the Statter Harbor office. Parking may require a few minutes. You need to pay using one of the many kiosks. There are two parking areas—one is near the office and the Hot Bite restaurant. If this one is full, go around the roundabout to the next one on the left. Lots of spaces there, but don't use the long boat parking ones. Allow 5-10 mins. for this walk back to harbor office area. We'll have apps, non-alcoholic drinks, and a couple of drink tickets for you on board. After that, it's cash bar.

Wedding Ceremony: Eaglecrest Ski Area Lodge at 5:30 pm. (We will carpool.)
Reception at Juneau Yacht Club 1301 Harbor Way
